Advertising Specifications
If you have booked display advertising or a targeted email as part of your recruitment campaign, the specifications are shown below.
Display advertising
- MPU (site wide)
- Size: 300 x 450 pixels
- File type: jpeg, gif or png file or HTML
- Animation: Recommended maximum 4 frames. Recommended maximum 8 second loop. Maximum file size 1MB.
To accommodate subscribers who render animated files as static, first frame must have relevant information.

- Banner (site wide)
- Size: 468 x 60 pixels
- File type: jpeg, gif or png file or HTML
- Animation: Recommended maximum 4 frames. Recommended maximum 8 second loop. Maximum file size 1MB.
To accommodate subscribers who render animated files as static, first frame must have relevant information.

Targeted emails
Targeted emails can be created by Gradsouthwest using a standard template or an html file can be supplied and uploaded to our email software. Emails are scheduled in advance and will be scheduled at an optimal time in your recruitment advertising campaign. Please allow two working days for content to be created. We will send you a proof for approval before it is sent to recipients. Please check this carefully as we cannot take responsibility for any errors or omissions once you have signed it off.
- Standard Template
- Company logo – a maximum of 500 pixels
- Text - a maximum of 200 words
- Hyperlink to the recruitment advert on Gradsouthwest plus a link to 'apply now' via Gradsouthwest.com
- Custom template
- HTML file - fully assembled (links and images in place) maximum of 640-pixel wide HTML table designed and created by advertiser. CANNOT contain: image maps, forms, video etc
- All other image and CSS files in ZIP format. Any other files created for the campaign must be zipped into a single file. CSS guidelines can be provided on request.
