The Lambert Review identified a mismatch between the needs of industry and the courses offered by Universities. Many providers are now effectively delivering HE in the workplace, and top earners from CPD for SME's attract in excess of £1m.

We have been involved in developing HE programmes to be delivered to cohorts of students in the workplace. We are targeting employees who have achieved a level three in vocational programmes and wish to progress.

- Choose a flexible delivery model (NVQ) and over teach it to develop students academic abilities

- Awarding bodies are focused on the systems and not the learning
