Case study
North Devon College
Degree courses are not always focused enough for employers and can contain too much academic work which has already been learned in a real industry settingR. Barnes, North Devon College

Tip
- Choose a flexible delivery model (NVQ) and over teach it to develop students academic abilities
Pitfalls
- Awarding bodies are focused on the systems and not the learning
Resources
- Time: it takes time to make contact with and gain an understanding of the industry area with which you want to work
