What you can expect from gradsouthwest
Jobseekers
Jobseekers can expect us to work in partnership with HE Careers Services in the South West to:
- Provide a web based database of live job vacancies and other opportunities
- Take every care to ensure that vacancies are accurately descrived, genuine and appropriate
- Maintain the website so that it is fully functioning
- Respond quickly and courteously to requests for assistance or information
- Provide up to date relevant information
- Respond appropriate to suggestion for further development or improvment
- Respond quickly, courteously and appropriately if the service falls short in any of these areas
Employers
Employers can expect us to work in partnership with HE careers services in the South West to:
- Provide a web based database of live student and graduate jobseekers
- Advertise vacancies online within two working days of submission
- Contact you quickly if there is a query about the vacancy
- Respond quickly and courteously to requests for assistance or information
- Respond appropriately to suggestions for further development or improvement
- Respond quickly, courteously and appropriately if the service falls short in any of these areas
What gradsouthwest asks of you
Jobseekers - we ask you to:
- Read the terms and conditions and privacy policy. It is a condition of use that these are accepted.
- Act in accordance with the statement on best practice recruitment (below)
- Use the site proactively, visiting regularly to stay up to date with developments
- Experiment with your profile and settings to ensure you receive the most relevant vacancies by email
- Be mindful of personal safety when responding to job advertisements and attending interviews
- Suggest ways we can improve the service and report any problems immediately
Employers - we ask you to
- Read the terms and conditions and privacy policy. It is a condition of use that these are accepted.
- Act in accordance with the statement on best practice (below)
- Provide all the information requeted on our online vacancy submissed form
- Use the site proactively, visiting regularly to stay up to date with developments
- Consider how best to target appropriate jobseekers so that jobseekers do not receive inappropriate 'blanket' email alerts
- Suggest ways we can improve our service and report any problems immediately
We ask jobseekers and employers to be mindful of the statement of Best Practice in Graduate Recruitment, agreed by the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services, the Association of Graduate Recruiters and the National Union of Students.
