Mentoring
Mentoring is a partnership in which an experienced person (the mentor) shares their knowledge, experience and insights with a less experienced person (the mentee).
Mentoring can:

- Give you a new perspective from someone with more experience
- Develop your communication skills
- Allow you to explore issues without fear of comeback
- Help you to develop networks and identify opportunities
- Increase your motivation
- Help you to overcome potential barriers to employment
Some Careers Services offer mentoring schemes for students.
