We are currently looking to recruit a Graduate Transport Planner to join our busy team in our Taunton office on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of our fast-growing, multi-disciplinary development and infrastructure consultancy with the opportunity to work on a variety of projects.

Key responsibilities / Duties will include:

  • Report writing including preparation of Transport Assessments and Statements
  • Travel planning
  • Traffic modelling, spreadsheet and GIS analysis
  • Supporting team members with a variety of project tasks including development of access and mitigation designs / strategies
  • Undertaking site visits.
About You

The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, Human Geography or Town Planning with a Masters in Transport Planning being desirable.

In addition, the candidate must:

  • Have excellent communication and written skills
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office programmes
  • Be an enthusiastic and positive team player
  • Be able to work on own initiative.
