Job Description

Starting life in 2002, Lovehoney is now the largest online sex toy retailer in the UK, and received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in 2016. Growing rapidly as an international retailer, manufacturer and distributor, our websites and sex toy brands are known and loved around the world.

The Online Trading Team manage Lovehoney’s retail sales, maximising revenue and profit across 9 websites (on desktop, mobile and tablet), in 4 languages and 3 fulfilment centres. OTT are responsible for the long-term trading strategy as well as the tactical day-to-day running of all retail websites and emails.

Your job will be to contribute to the success of Lovehoney’s UK retail website, maximising revenue through the planning and execution of exciting promotions and other visual merchandising.

You’ll be making the most of your curiosity and creativity to identify ways to maximise revenue through sales analysis. You’ll also be supporting the Online Sales Team in the long-term planning and short-term execution of sales events on The creation and commissioning of commercial content will also be a key part of your role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the rest of the Online Trading Team, support the long-term sales strategy and short-term tactics based on both trading conditions and budgets
  • Maintain best practice to ensure that our trading strategy and tactics are on-brand and compelling. This includes commissioning graphics and writing commercially focused and customer-engaging copy
  • Report to the Online Sales Manager and UK Online Sales Team Lead on Lovehoney UK promotions and categories, suggesting action to boost performance where required

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of web-based eCommerce, mobile eCommerce and retail
  • Commercially focused and curious, with an aptitude for trend-spotting
  • Creative flair, with excellent written English and a keen eye for detail
  • Proven organisational and time management skills
  • Confident using software such as Google Docs/Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An understanding of basic HTML would be advantageous
