Business West– A Powerful Voice for Business

All companies can benefit from the range of information, advice, networking events and international trade support that is available from Business West. As one of the most influential business leadership organisations in the UK, we represent over 16,000 businesses in the South West including our network of Chambers of Commerce members in Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

Phil Smith, Managing Director of Business West, said: “Gradsouthwest has an excellent reputation and is led by an experienced and passionate team. Youth unemployment remains a barrier to long term economic growth, and businesses tell us that the skills gap is hurting them day in day out. This platform addresses this issue by linking our young talent with businesses of all sectors and sizes. I am pleased to welcome them to our extensive network of partners.”

At national level, as part of the British Chambers of Commerce it sits at the heart of a powerful nationwide network of Accredited Chambers of Commerce, serving over 100,000 businesses across the UK, which employ over five million people.

- Bath Spa University

Bournemouth University

Cornwall College Group and Unlocking Potential

Falmouth University

Hartpury University

Plymouth Marjon University (St Mark & St John)

Plymouth College of Art

South Devon College (University Centre)

GradTalent Development Agency

We regularly attend events and work with Universities and Colleges across the south west and beyond to attract talent to the region. We have recently attended Careers Fairs at: Cardiff Metropolitan University, Cardiff University, University Centre Somerset, University of Bath, University of the West of England (UWE).

These strong campus links allow us to reach a large pool of students and graduates who come to us looking for jobs.

Other Job Boards

We are part of the JobBoard.com network - a network comprising over 4,000 job boards worldwide.

We also work with Jooble, Jobsora and Neuvoo.

We do this to provide maximum visibility for your job adverts - to bring you candidates who want to work in the region.
