Limited opportunities once again for IT Skills and Cyber Skills Bootcamps. These are 12 week online virtual classroom-based courses fully funded by the government if you are unemployed and up to 90% funded if you are employed and want to upskill in your current role.

 

What are Skills Bootcamps?

 

Skills Bootcamps are part of the Lifetime Skills Guarantee and Plan for Jobs. Our free Skills Bootcamp in IT Skills and Cyber Skills will give you all the technical skills needed to start your first IT/Cyber role or to help you progress into a Level 4 apprenticeship.

 

As part of the course you will receive essential technical skills to enter the industry, hone your soft skills, including communication, collaborative working, problem-solving and working to deadlines.

 

Available to adults 19 and over. You must have an active interest in working in the IT/Cyber sector, previous experience is not necessary.

 

Technical Training

 

What will The Skills Bootcamp will build technical knowledge and hands-on skills needed to start your career. This will include;

 

  • Industry recognised certification - Accredited CompTIA Security+.

  • Industry recognised certification - CompTIA Cyber Security Analyst+ (CySA+) OR CompTIA A+ for IT Skills

  • CertNexus Cybersafe Awareness

  • Introduction to IoT and how you can become part of it.
