Applications to join the Low Carbon Devon Internship and Leadership Programme are invited from students or recent graduates of the University of Plymouth.

Are you interested in using your knowledge and skills to help tackle climate change? Then this is for you!

The Sustainability Hub Low Carbon Devon project is providing an exciting new catalyst for low-carbon economic growth in Devon. 

Supported by an investment from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the three-year £2.6 million programme, will support Devon-based organisations to access research, business support, and engage with the University of Plymouth around the low-carbon agenda.

This includes an exciting paid internship programme designed to  allow students and graduates to develop valuable skills and experience provide whilst assisting innovative local organisations to reduce their carbon emissions via new ideas, products or services.  

The internships are open to those from a wide a range of disciplines including science, maths, geography, business management, marketing, design etc. 

All interns will benefit from a series of change-leadership and personal development workshops to equip them with the skills to be future change makers, leaders and role models for a low carbon society. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive contribution to tackling the climate emergency. All internships are for a period of 3 months (working 3, 4 or 5 days a week) starting in October 2021.

These are paid positions, many of which offer remote working, and are a brilliant way to build your CV and kickstart your career whilst making a difference. 🌍
