Chef de Partie  /  Demi Chef de Partie

Princess Cruises is seeking Chef de Parties and Demi Chef de Parties with experience in producing western cuisine in high volume fine-dining environments.  You will assist the Executive Chef on your assigned vessel in producing and delivering the best possible culinary experience at sea, supporting up to seven different restaurant outlets, including our award winning steakhouses.  Each restaurant has a dynamic menu cycle that is specially crafted to match the numerous ports visited.   

Applicant requirements:

  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of previous experience in a high production culinary environment
  • Possess a formal qualification in culinary arts from a recognised culinary training institution
  • Speak fluent English
  • Possess the ability to supervise a diverse culinary team
  • Be well versed in Public Health regulations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

Pastry Chef de Partie  /  Pastry Demi Chef de Partie

You will be part of our exciting, luxury multi-unit, high volume shipboard Pastry operation and help oversee its multi-cultural world class team.  You will have an opportunity to increase your international dessert experience, working with recipes of renowned master chocolatier Norman Love and award-winning chefs.

Applicant requirements:

  • Must possess a formal qualification in pastry arts from a recognised culinary training institution
  • Have previous experience in a pastry galley in high volume production and possess a strong knowledge of Pastry arts
  • Possess the ability to supervise multicultural subordinate crew members
  • Be well versed in Public Health regulations
  • Command of the English language both verbal and written
