We provide educational places to Children and Young People with special educational needs and provide a range of children’s homes in England and Wales. This new role would act as a central hub for co-ordination of both school, college and childcare placements along with working as a key member of the commercial team in developing wider business and marketing systems.
It’s a multi-faceted, development role for the right person, who perhaps wants to take their next step working within a commercial business and which will develop overtime as the organisation continues of a positive trajectory of growth.
The role will support the manager to provide a highly responsive housing related support service for people with a range of needs including learning disabilities, mental ill health, a history of drug & alcohol misuse, homelessness, people with an offending history, and people in need of budgeting assistance.
The role includes the following responsibilities:
Responding to and prioritising referrals for care and schools
Maintaining the CRM system and producing timely reports
Supporting the development of bids and tenders for Local Authorities and NHS
Assist in the development of new business and income streams
Support media enquiries and develop internal and external communications alongside Group Commercial Director
Making Freedom of Information Act requests to enhance business intelligence and planning
Working with the Digital and Social Media Co-ordinator to develop targeted campaigns and tracking effectiveness
Support the development of marketing initiatives
Assist in the co-ordination seminars and events tailored to showcase our services provided
Input into the development of enhanced business systems
What you'll need:
Educated to a degree level or equivalent
Some experience or an interest in developing a career with a commercial business team
Ability to manage and prioritise a variety of tasks and deliver to deadlines
Experience of managing relationships with external organisations
Self-motivated, with the enthusiasm, passion and ability to generate new ideas and bring them to fruition
Confident, resilient and approachable, working at all levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong IT literacy
Ability to summarise complex data and messages
Great team player, collaborative, enthusiastic style with a motivation for development
Flexible, ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends and to travel to locations other than the office if necessary
Graduate of a UK university within the last 3 years
Right to work in the UK
