Job Description

If you are interested in a career in software development, then Software Solved is for you. They are looking for a talented, high performing STEM graduate.
This is a 12-month contract with the opportunity of a permanent role for the right person.

The Graduate Scheme

Skills

They seek a technically adept individual with a willingness to learn. Good communication skills are essential with a flexible and common-sense attitude. You must be organised and deliver objectives in a timely fashion.

It is essential that you demonstrate a solid knowledge of programming principles used in languages such as:

  • Python, Java, JavaScript
  • Microsoft .NET, C# or VB
  • Knowledge of RDBMS & SQL
  • Knowledge of WordPress

 It would also be desirable to have knowledge of graphic design.

About STEM Graduates into Business

STEM Graduates into Business is a European Regional Development Funded project delivered by the University of Plymouth Careers & Employability Service. Its aim is to increase the number of paid internships available to recent graduates with small and medium-sized enterprises based in Devon. Funded until spring 2021, the project should produce 80 internships with 80 separate employers across the county.

By providing support and funding to the SMEs, it is hoped that a cohort of graduate employing SMEs will be created which will continue to employ graduates beyond the life of the project.
