Job Description

Sustainable Kitchens (SK) is an independent kitchen design, manufacture and installation company based in Bristol and working throughout the UK. Our mission is to inspire a sustainable lifestyle. As part of our development plans, we are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Executive to work with the Managing Director.  The successful candidate will lead our sales growth, develop our marketing strategies and much more.

This is a very exciting opportunity for a self-starter to gain extensive knowledge within a small company and to make their mark, whilst informing business decisions and working alongside the management team to improve and develop lead generation and communications in order to reach company objectives.

It Woodwork Limited was incorporated in 2008 and holds two brands, Sustainable Kitchens (SK) and Honest Kitchens (HK). This role will initially focus on SK and then will also include completely scoping, developing and implement marketing strategies for Honest Kitchens (HK). This is a really unique opportunity to grow an established brand and be involved in developing a new one.

Reporting structure:

Reports directly to the Managing Director

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies and campaigns to increase lead generation across the company.

  • Manage the marketing budget and report on all marketing activities.

  • Develop an annual marketing plan to reflect the seasonality of the business and to encourage an even flow of contracts.

  • Manage all company communications including social media, newsletters, campaigns and marketing materials.

  • Organise and manage key events and communications to build relationships with clients, third parties and the Bristol community to gain authority and increase brand awareness.

  • Manage and coordinate Adwords and advertising campaigns and optimise all website and digital content across all platforms.

  • Manage all social media platforms for SK & HK, creating engaging content and growing social media following.

  • Monitor key insights and trends and using these to shape our social media & communications strategy.

  • Website support – update the website and look for ways to improve organic SEO and assisting the MD on website updates and projects.

  • Act as the brand guardian to ensure a consistent house style and that all documentation complies with SK’s and HK’s brand positioning and legal requirements.

  • Create and manage one voice for the business, writing copy for marketing materials and portfolio case studies and company journal.

  • Produce and manage all marketing materials and manage the process from conception to delivery.

  • Audience research - support the Managing Director to understand our clients better, developing personas and strategies to improve the client journey.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Liaise with our PR contact to get articles into national magazines and newspapers.

  • Support the Accounts Manager with client retention and client journey.

  • Support the Accounts Manager to implement and manage a CRM system.

  • Proof read all company communications.

  • Ensure inbound sales enquiries are recorded correctly for reporting.

  • Manage online reviews and highlight new reviews across a range of channels

Desirables

  • A strong interest in and knowledge of joinery, kitchens and interior design.

  • A passion for quality and environmental responsibility.

Experience Required:

  • Degree level qualification 2:1 and above in Marketing, PR, Communications or similar.

  • At least 1-2 years successful experience of consumer marketing, lead generation.

  • At least 1 years experience in analysing  data and client experience to drive improvements and improve client journey.

  • Adwords & Google Analytics experience and a good understanding of SEO and SEM.

  • Experience of handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) with the ability to communicate well at all levels.

  • Self-starter able to work with minimum supervision; problem solver.

  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint, google drive).

  • Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts.

  • Experience with CRM, and project management tools (we use Asana)

Remuneration:

Salary : £22,000 - £28,000 DOE
Holidays:   20 days plus statutory holidays initially, with additional days depending on length of service.
Pension:    Employer contribution of 3% of salary
Contract:   Full time, or part-time depending on the candidate, for at least 3 days per week.
