Job Description

MarketforceLive are looking for a Roundtable Guest Relations Executive (working from home, Cornwall area)

MarketforceLive is a London-based company but their Head of Guest Relations  (who is based in Cornwall) runs the team remotely and has begun to build a team of remote-working executives who live in Cornwall, using company laptops and Ring Central telephone systems provided by MarketforceLive.

The successful candidate will be working from home in the Cornwall area and will be responsible for the signing up of senior level guests (Chiefs, Directors, Heads etc) from target accounts to our digital events, and building relationships with our clients.

Primary Role

  • Using Pardot automation system to send out mail merges to targeted clients
  • Using Salesforce to log updates on individual contacts
  • Meeting or exceeding KPIs including number of guests and targeted seniority levels
  • Practicing the agreed MarketforceLive guesting methodology (phone, email, LinkedIn, Sales Navigator)
  • Practicing the agreed MarketforceLive guest nurturing methodology
  • Regularly updating the project team on project Slack messaging channel
  • Reporting in to the Head of Guest Relations and updating roundtable status spreadsheet
  • Attending project meetings for the relevant events and giving feedback
  • Chasing no-shows on the day of the events
  • Post event feedback follow-up and client relationship building

Secondary Role

  • Identifying and offering opportunities for guests to attend additional roundtables
  • Using Salesforce to log interests in future roundtables
  • Identifying and communicating opportunities for guests to attend conferences
  • Passing on useful industry feedback and suggestions for future events to Project Team
  • Using LinkedIn to build guest relationships and research potential future guests
  • Maintaining up-to-date customer information on Salesforce when relevant

Skills

  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Perseverance and dedication akin to a sales role
  • Sales experience or experience in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to hit deadlines and must be target-driven
  • Flexibility to work different time zones (some events are USA based)
  • Good team player
  • Good copywriting and IT skills
  • Ability to learn new IT systems
  • Confident personality- speaking to high seniority of contacts (Chiefs, Directors, VPs, Heads etc)
  • Educated to Degree level, ideally 2:1 and above

Salary & Package

  • Permanent & full-time (9-5.30 with 1 hour lunch)- these hours may change according to time zones of events
  • £22,000 per year basic salary (reviewed annually) + competitive commission structure
  • Commission- £40 per guest who attends; potential to earn upwards of £8,000 in commission annually giving you an OTE of £30,000 upwards
  • Remote/working from home position to begin with possibility of a future Cornwall office to work from (TBC)
  • Use of company laptop and telephone calling system
  • 20 days holiday (rising by +1 day per full year completed & up to a maximum of 25 days)
  • Travel expenses for any visits to London office or events
  • Pension scheme available
