Our Undergraduate Scheme
We have been running a successful Undergraduate placement scheme since 2007. This is a structured scheme with mentors in place for each individual and a portfolio of project work dependent on your skills, expertise and desires.
We wish to offer up to two placements to high calibre individuals to assist the company in its excellent pattern of growth. Working as a developer in our highly successful team, in our Exeter office, you will have the opportunity to work on the development of in-house systems as well as having exposure to other areas of software development such as DBA and Website Content Management. The work will be varied and challenging and is an excellent opportunity to develop new and existing skills. In this role you will work alongside existing members of the team, however there is the possibility of client facing work. There will also be the opportunity to work within different technical teams during your placement year.
We seek a technically adept individual with a willingness to learn. Candidates must have a complete commitment to quality of service. Good communication skills are essential with a flexible and common sense attitude.

You will need to demonstrate a solid knowledge of programming principles used in languages such as:
- Python, Java, SQL
- Microsoft ASP, C# or VB
- Knowledge of RDBMS
- Knowledge of Umbraco CMS
It would also be advantageous to have knowledge of any of the following skills:
- Any variant of Java
- Knowledge of Graphic design
Salary is £16,000 - £17,000 DOE
