WPA: Data Analyst Degree Apprentice (x3)

Job Description

This role will give you the chance to study for a BSc in Digital and Technology Solutions (Professional) at Exeter University. You will also complete an Apprenticeship Programme which means that WPA will allow you paid time off from work to complete your studies (term time only), so you get to study and get paid at the same time!! You will also attend a residential each term, so you also get to experience the University Life – the best of both worlds.

We understand that in order for our Data Analysts to turn data into valuable information, which can be used to make informed business decisions that they need to have a good understanding of our business and how it works. This is why, if you are successful, you will start your new career by learning all about our business and you will embark upon a two month training programme to learn all about WPA. Once that is completed, you will then commence your studies which will allow you to transfer the academic knowledge you are gaining directly into your work environment – what better way to learn, than to apply your new knowledge into what you do on a daily basis. If successful, you will specialise in Data Analytics as part of the degree, but you will also study and learn a wide range of IT areas such as Information Security, IT Project Management, Digital Technology Infrastructure, IT Law and Ethics, to name but a few.

You will work with all types of Data at WPA carrying out monitoring and analysis, whilst making recommendations on how the business can implement change and generate efficiencies.

The duration of this job will initially be for the length of the BSc, however, this will be reviewed at the end of the contract subject to business need.
