Description

Company profile

Brittany Ferries is Breton owned, founded in the early 1970's, primarily to export vegetables from France to the UK. From these origins we’ve developed into a major transport network linking UK, France, Spain and Ireland.

The core proposition is one of a premium but affordable service  connecting beautiful regions and offering customers a choice of more convenient and relaxing journeys in pleasant surroundings. By sailing to and from ports further west than Dover/Calais and Eurotunnel, there can be savings in both driving time and distance compared to other surface travel options for many travellers.

In the current season Brittany Ferries is operating seven cruise ferries, two économie ships (both chartered) one high speed craft and one freight-only (also chartered). Passenger market proportions between the two main markets are currently 83% ex UK and 17 % ex France.
