We are Finalists! Best Regional Job Board at the NORAs

We are pleased to announce we are (again) Finalists in the Best Regional Job board category of the National On-line Recruitment Awards - the NORAs.

The NORAs state "Regional job boards are able to provide candidates and employers with a local focus, which they can identify with and respond to. Throughout the country, regional and local job boards do an outstanding job in catering for their needs."

>In June to August 2024, the estimated number of vacancies in the UK decreased (ONS), but are still higher than pre-Covid levels

>UK unemployment rate has decreased to 4.1% in May to July 2024 from the last quarter (ONS)

>The first report from Skills England, the government’s new body for the skills system, identifies that employer investment in training has been in steady decline over the past decade, with training expenditure at its lowest level since records began in 2011, with investment per employee down by 19% in real terms.
