Class of 2025

Easter is a distant memory as we head through May... many finalists are finished. If anything remains to be done it's just the final submission of coursework, dissertations and prep for exams. Graduation is next and the need for a job now becomes oh so urgent.

University of Bristol SME Internship Scheme

If you are an SME you can get a grant of £1,000 per internship towards the intern's wages.

Internships can take place any time during the year but must start before the end of June 2025 - so you need to be quick!

>According to the ONS...DuringNov24 - Jan25 wage growth remained strong, unemployment and employment levels both rose, and economic inactivity marginally fell. This suggests a cooling labour market. Accessing new skills and talent persists as a challenge.

> This is supported by British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) research which shows that 62% of employers are experiencing skills shortages, rising to 74% for manufacturing firms.

> In addition, BCC’s 2024 Workforce Survey found that just 13%of businesses have a specific recruitment, training or retention plan for workers under 25.
