AI is reshaping recruitment

Student and graduate job seekers are reporting that:

> they are altering their careers plans due to AI

> Generative AI tools are being used widely in job searches, for careers advice, CV and cover letter creation and editing, interview preparation and practice

> AI tools save them time, meaning more applications can be made

Employers report:

> too many ill-focused applications!

> their own use of AI in screening, testing and interviewing

> a need to be clear what their company considers acceptable or unacceptable use of AI - and to make sure candidates know

Just don't forget - humans are recruiting humans - so there needs to remain a person at the heart of recruitment!
