Richard J Smith & Co LLP, a leading boutique firm of Insolvency Practitioners and Forensic Accountants, invites you to join our team as an Insolvency Administrator. 

Based in Ivybridge, Devon, with additional offices in Truro and Exeter, we are the largest independent firm of Insolvency Practitioners in the Southwest. With an outstanding reputation and strong professional relationships throughout the region, we offer an exciting opportunity for graduates to grow and thrive. 

Due to a restructuring of our firm and increased workflow resulting from the current economic climate, we are seeking a motivated graduate to join our busy team. As an Insolvency Administrator, you will work closely with our Partners and Managers to administer a diverse portfolio of insolvency cases, both corporate and personal. This includes tasks such as managing financial and legal paperwork, conducting on-site visits, and representing the firm at client meetings. 

We provide comprehensive training, including the opportunity to pursue Accountancy and Insolvency qualifications.

Key Requirements: 

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in any subject (preferably accounting or business graduates)
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Organised and eager to learn
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and literacy
  • Comfortable with IT
