Summer Term is underway

For most Universities the Easter vacations are now over, and the summer term is kicking off. Exams and final assessments are the order of the day for finalists - and then job hunting for those that haven't secured that all important role.

Did you know?

>The labour market remains subdued, with employment broadly flat, and unemployment still low at below 4% (IES).

>The Government will fully fund apprenticeships in small businesses from 1st April by paying the full cost of training for anyone up to the age of 21.

>The UK's economic inactivity rate was 21.8% in the three-month period, higher than a year earlier, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said. It means 9.2 million people aged between 16 and 64 in the UK are not in work nor looking for a job.
